UI design of a Website Event page — Wireframe and Design

This is a UI redesign of an event page of a website. The purpose of this page is to invite users to join this company at the event.
I have used two UI principals in this UI redesign
- Persistent UI — Enhanced UI Availability — a core concept of UI design. Persistent UI can be used to keep either key information or key action in front of user at all time. It will make sure that at any point in time the user is impressed by the event description, the key details and the call to action is present in front of the user.
- Non-obstructive UI — Enhanced UI Readability of content. This principal is to intentionally hide secondary details to direct user focus on the main content as in my case, the event description.
